Stake Pulse Beat I dates, venue and prize pool

Stake Pulse Beat I is the first edition of a new CS2 tournament series. Organised by Black Molly Entertainment and sponsored by Stake, it takes place between 31 July and 5 August. 16 teams will compete in an offline tournament held at the BME Studio in Stockholm, Sweden. A $60,000 prize pool is on the line, with the champions receiving $20,000 in prize money.

How the Stake Pulse Beat format works

The Stake Pulse tournament gets underway with the group stage. 14 teams are invited based on their Valve Regional Standings, while another 2 enter through the qualifiers. The 16 teams are divided into 4 groups.

Each group follows a double-elimination format, where teams are only eliminated after losing 2 matches. After the opening matches, the winning teams play in the winners match, while the losing teams play an elimination match. The deciding match then determines the final standings. All matches are played to the best of 3 games. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs

The playoffs use a single elimination bracket. Every playoff match, including the Grand Final, is best of 3.
